  27. PLEASE get real. I have in my PC a card that actually _is_ a flickerfixer,
  28. and also contains a complete TV tuner with on screen display and all that
  29. nonsense. It takes in 15kHz signals and outputs 31 kHz signals.

  31. Yes, it is sold as a TV card, as the PC doesn't need a flickerfixer, but
  32. it still is essentially that.

  34. Now the street proce of this card, which has long been out of production
  35. (and is thus in high demand, as it is supported by linux) was DM 99,--
  36. about 3 years ago. That's about $70, given the exchange rate now (and then).

  38. And you try to sell something for $400 today that isn't even a real flicker-
  39. fixer? An old 286 with just a floppy plus one of these cards would be
  40. cheaper!
